People gathered on May 31, 2020 on the green in Shelton, CT to protest racism and the killing of George Floyd. They took a knee in silence for 9 minutes. Breon Sanders spoke of his experiences of racism in Shelton. Police Chief Shawn Sequeira, Mayor Mark Lauretti and Greg Johnson of the NAACP were there to show support.
